As part of our drive for continuous improvement, we are keen to understand how effective the phlebotomy online appointment system is working for patients, which is why we are running a survey from 25 November to 8 December 2024.

Patients will be asked if their preference is to:

  • Make an appointment online via our website
  • speak to call handlers who can make appointments on their behalf
  • Visit one of our clinics and wait
  • Make an appointment in person at their local clinic reception.

Mersey Care has on average 9,000 appointments for blood tests across Liverpool, Sefton and Knowsley each week, and want to make the service as efficient as possible for all patients.
