A new system for submitting referrals to adult secure (medium and low, mental illness and learning disability) services in Cheshire and Merseyside will be going live over the next few weeks. Professionals can submit referrals into the system using this link.
From 17 June all referrals for these sites should be made by the Single Point of Access System:
- Aspen Wood – Mersey Care - male and female low secure learning disability services
- Rowan View – Mersey Care - male and female medium secure learning disability and mental illness services
- Saddlebridge - Cheshire and Wirral Partnership – male low secure mental illness service
- Alderley Unit - Cheshire and Wirral Partnership – male low secure learning disability service
From 1 July these following services will also go live for all referrals using the Single Point of Access system:
- Rathbone – Mersey Care – male low secure mental illness service
- Chesterton – Mersey Care – female low secure mental illness service
- Marlowe – Mersey Care – male low secure mental illness service
To log in for the first time, please click on the link above and choose the option to ‘Register’. Complete the registration form using your full name as the display name and work email address in the email address section, as well as your job title and organisation name.
After completing the registration process, you will be able to use the ‘Log in’ option on the system home screen, and log in using your usual work email address and password. After logging in you will have access to ‘Add referral’ where you can identify the required service line for the referral and complete the standard referral form.
The services will provide all updates regarding the referral, such as requests for further information or confirmation of the outcome, via the Single Point of Access system. You will receive an email alert each time there is an update on a referral that you have submitted prompting you to check the system.
