Service available in:
This specialist nurse service offers stoma care including pre and post-operative care and ongoing support. This includes annual reviews of appliances. The service also offers Trans anal irrigation education and support for patients with bowel dysfunction.
What we do
The service is community led but in reaches into Southport Hospital to support patients and works as a key member of the colorectal team. There are drop in clinics and the stoma nurses also offer support to patients in their own home.

- Monday: 09.00 to 5.00pm
- Tuesday: 09.00 to 5.00pm
- Wednesday: 09.00 to 5.00pm
- Thursday: 09.00 to 5.00pm
- Friday: 09.00 to 5.00pm
- Saturday: CLOSED
- Sunday: CLOSED
Referrals are accepted from GP and any other Health Care Professional (HCP) for patients aged 16+ registered with a Southport and Formby GP.
