The Brain Injury Rehabilitation Centre helps people with acquired brain injuries to rebuild their lives, regain their independence and maximise their quality of life. No brain injury is the same so we offer individualised treatment programmes for each service user.
The Centre is based at the Walton Neurological Centre in Aintree and has 12 beds available for people with acquired brain injuries in the Liverpool, Knowsley, Sefton, St Helens and Halton areas. Each service user is provided with their own en-suite bedroom and an individualised programme of care developed between them and therapists.
Brain injury can affect a person’s cognitive, physical, sensory, behavioural and psychological skills. Our aim is to support the person with the brain injury, as well as their families, to adjust to their injury and to get the most from life. We offer a friendly, welcoming and fun environment for rehabilitation.
Our Centre has unrivalled expertise in the delivery of assessment, treatment and care for Acquired Brain Injury. It is an approved provider, accredited by The Brain Injury Association, reflecting our dedication to providing high quality brain injury rehabilitation care.
