Who are we and what do we do?
We are a team of mental health practitioners and support practitioners with a background in a wide range of settings. We aim to support you in getting help with your health and social care needs in order to reduce the likelihood of you reoffending. Sometimes people refer to us as the mental health team but we can help you with a wide range of issues, including:
- Your mental health
- Learning difficulties/disabilities
- Drugs and alcohol
- Education and employment
- Debt
- Benefits
- Gambling
- Veterans support
- Women
- Domestic violence.
Who do we see?
We try to see everyone who comes into contact with the criminal justice setting to help with getting support for anything you may be struggling with.
Where do we work?
We work in Liverpool, Sefton and Wirral in all Merseyside police stations and courts.
Who do we work with?
You are the most important person we work with. We also work with other teams including CAMHS, YOT/ YOS, police, courts and social care to help support you and get the most appropriate outcome from your contact with the criminal justice system.
