Posters in thewaiting room have more information aboutthe cost of NHS treatment. Leaflets arealso available.Your rights and responsibilitiesYou have a right to be treated with dignity,respect and to be seen within half an hourof your appointment time. An explanationwill be given if you are kept waiting for anyreason. If you are unable to attend yourappointment, please let us know inadvance, so that the appointment may beoffered to another patient. Missedappointments waste valuable time andresources.Disabled accessAll our clinics have disabled access andtoilet facilities. If you have a disability thatyou think we should know about please giveus a call before your appointment and wewill do our best to put suitable arrangementsin place in order to accommodate yourneeds.Requesting servicesYou can express a preference about whichdentist you see. We will make all reasonableefforts to ensure that the request is met, butthis may not always be possible. Pleasestate who you would like to be seen by whenbooking an appointment.Dental studentsThe clinic you are attending may be involvedin the training of future dentists. If this is thecase, you may be asked permission to allowstudents to treat you. The students aresupervised by fully trained dentists at alltimes. If you do not wish to take part it willnot affect your treatment in any way.Zero tolerance to abuse or violence to NHS staffPatients who are violent or abusive to dentalstaff, reception staff, or anyone else on thepremises will be refused treatment andreported to the appropriate authorities.Data protectionData protection law requires us to processyour personal data fairly and lawfully. Wetake our duty to protect your personalinformation and confidentiality very seriously,and we are committed to taking allreasonable measures to ensure theconfidentiality and security of personal datafor which we are responsible.
