National Poetry Day

Join us on National Poetry Day as we contribute to the 25th anniversary celebrations of this national episode of mass creativity and wellbeing.

This year’s theme is ‘truth’ and we welcome you to write a poem or do a recital touching on the ‘In Poetry, Truth’ national campaign, highlighting poetry’s power to touch on truth – whether intimate or on the grand scale. Guests can also just drop in and listen to the creative works of others.

Our events will be led by Mersey Care’s poet in residence Dr Pauline Rowe and award winning poet Maria Isakova Bennett. All are welcome.
