It's Time to Talk

Conversations about mental health change lives.

At the moment, too many people with mental health problems are made to feel isolated, ashamed and worthless by other people’s reactions.

But talking about mental health doesn’t need to be difficult. We strongly believe that the power of a brew (whether this is a cup of tea/coffee or a cold drink) to bring people together can be harnessed as a tool to get the nation talking and being more open about mental health.

Because the way you act towards someone with a mental illness (through talking, and being ready to listen) can change their life: by opening up to mental health you can make can make a positive difference to someone’s life.

That’s why we are in full support of the Time to Talk day campaign by Time to Change on Thursday 6 February which aims to get the nation talking and listening about mental health around the clock. Whatever the hour, every conversation, every text, every share means more people are reached and more lives are changed.
