Blue Monday is a name given to a day in January (typically the third Monday of the month) traditionally regarded as the most depressing day of the year, mainly because the bills are starting to arrive after Christmas, the dark nights are with us and pay day is still some way around the corner.
But, in partnership with the Zero Suicide Alliance (ZSA), we're aiming to do something positive and turn 'Blue Monday' into 'Brew Monday', by encouraging as many people as possible to just sit down, have a cuppa and talk about their problems.
Those conversations are crucial to helping your family, friends and work colleagues and those who are general suffering with their mental health can access services quicker and stand a better chance of recovery.
Around 200 packs have been sent out across the country to organisations wanting to support the campaign by holding Big Brew events of their own, where they will have conversations and make their contribution to breaking down the stigma that often surrounds mental ill health.
