Our Annual General Meeting (AGM)
Mersey Care NHS Foundation Trust provides an opportunity to find out more about the organisation and review some of our highlights and performances over the previous 12 months at their Annual General Meeting, which is open for all to attend.
In 2024 it was held on Wednesday 25 September at Aintree Racecourse. Traditionally the AGM is addressed by speeches from the Chair, Chief Executive and members of the Executive Board of Directors.
The Trust’s Annual Report and Accounts are also formally presented, while senior leaders often answer questions from members.

We held this year’s Trust AGM at Aintree Racecourse on Wednesday 25 September 2024.
The event provided an opportunity to find out more about the Trust whilst we reviewed some of our highlights from the last 12 months.
The meeting included hearing speeches from Chair Rosie Cooper, Chief Executive Officer Prof Joe Rafferty CBE, Chief Executive Officer Designate Trish Bennett and members of the Board of Directors.
There were also presentations to Prof Rafferty, who was attending his final AGM before his retirement on 31 October 2024.
