In celebration of VE day there will be big screens across the city with commemorative displays and buildings will be lit up red, white and blue. Combat Stress have just released this free mental health guide in light of Covid-19 which has tips on low mood and managing anger and includes videos on managing anger and depression produced by senior clinical psychologists working with Combat Stress

The Digital Wall of Honour: links to Culture Liverpool’s 75th Anniversary of VE day and includes an online archive to pay tribute to the men and women who died serving their country. Although it’s to honour people who have served their country in conflicts all around the world, Liverpool City Council want to encourage people to enter the details of anyone they wish to remember from WW2 as part of the #VEDay75 celebrations. These memories, thoughts, images and comments become part of the digital archive when they are posted and become part of the city’s digital memories which are shared publically throughout the year online and with the schools partnerships to help with education about times of conflict.
