Silver Birch Hubs - Maternal Mental Health Service Launch

Mersey Care is extending its pilot service for its Maternal Mental Health Services into Cheshire East, Cheshire West, Halton, Sefton and Warrington following a successful first launch earlier this year. 

Since launching the service four months ago for patients in Knowsley, Liverpool, St Helens and Wirral we’ve received more than 80 referrals - prompting us to extend it.

We will work in collaboration with the Improving Me local Maternity System in Cheshire and Merseyside and Cheshire & Wirral Partnership NHS Foundation Trust to deliver the Maternal Mental Health Service, which supports local communities to access treatment and care if they’ve experienced loss, distress or trauma during pregnancy and birth.

As we expand our Silver Birch service, we would like to invite those interested to a day of ‘Collaboration and Conversation – Service Launch Day’ on 20 September 2022. Further information about the event can be found in our events section.
